ABOUT TEMPORARY ADMISSION AND ANNEX 71
The Temporary Admission procedure allows non-EU goods intended for re-export to be used within the customs territory of the European Union, with total or partial relief from import duties—offering a cost-effective solution for vessels operating under temporary stay.
This procedure allows non-EU registered yachts to remain in the European Union with full relief from import VAT and to navigate freely within EU territorial waters without additional customs formalities, for a period of up to 18 months.
